    The Rohloff company started back in 1986 and started by introducing a new chain to the market, then chain tools and a lubricant. It wasn’t until 1996 that they introduced the Speedhub 500/14 which still remains as their cornerstone product.

     

    The Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 is widely considered the benchmark in “Internally Geared Hub” performance, with a gear range in excess of 500% and durability that is unrivalled.

     

    Today it can be installed onto a lot of different bike styles, even with today’s modern standards. Even Boost, Thru Axled Fat Bikes don’t present a problem.
