This Soma Wolverine has been built in house at Northside with no particular end price in mind. The goal simply was to build a unique, high quality commuting bike.
Frame and Fork
Soma Wolverine (B Type) 56cm frame + colour matched Lugged fork
Using Tange Prestige chromoly tubeset, made in Taiwan. 135mm QR rear dropounts + 100mm QR front fork
Drivetrain
Shimano Alfine 8 internally geared hub with Gates Carbon Beltdrive. The hub offers a 307% gear range. With the Gates 24t sprocket and 50t chainring gear 1 sits at 29.8 gear inches and gear 8 sits at 91.4 gear inches. If this is a little low for you, we could change out the rear sprocket to a 22t.
Brakes
Shimano BR-MT410 hydraulic brakes with Shimano 160mm rotors.
Wheels
Alex MD23 rims, Alfine rear hub, Alfine dynamo front hub, DT Swiss Champion spokes and Schwalbe Delta Cruiser Plus 700x35c tyres with tubes. The wheels have been handbuilt inhouse and rims are tubeless ready if you want to go down that path
